#iDad: (n) eye-dad, a dad who is doing his best to be involved and engaged in his child(ren)'s lives. 

 

The thing about being a good dad, is that there is no objective rubric by which you can determine if a dad is good or not. I mean sure, if they help proivde the basic necessities of living for their child(ren) or not is a starting place, but everyone's families and circumstances are different. What we really should be doing is celebrating all the different ways in which dads are doing their best to be invovled and engaged in their childs' lives.
