Father's Day Gift Guide 2021

Alright fiends, we're at crunch time to get the dad in your life a gift to celebrate how awesome of a dad he is! Luckily, there are last minute gifts you can pick up for any fella that they're bound to love. Here are some of them that I really appreciate this year and if you're looking to get me a gift, here's where I'd start! :D

1. AirTags.

What's so neat about Apple's AirTags is that they are probably the most affordable NEW thing at Apple that your dad likely doesn't have but could seriously need. I lose my wallet, keys, and the remote about as often as I "forget" to take out the trash. AirTags are neat little discs that help you locate things you typically lose. You can use the "Find My" app on your iPhone and locate any AirTag you have registered to it. Apple is selling them 4 for $99 and you can pick them up at most Apple Stores. Not to mention you can have them engraved for free with a host of emojis!

When I got my AirTag I knew the two things I needed to figure out how to maximize the AirTag benefits on were my keys (luckily Apple sells a keyring) and my wallet. I searched the internet, Amazon, and Etsy for my favorite wallet and ordered a few to try out. This little wallet is by far my favorite. It doesn't hold a ton, but holds everything I use on a daily basis with enough room for some cash folded up. This was designed by a local Utah guy and it's without question the best thing I've bought recently. You can also order the wallet with an AirTag directly from him if you want for an additional charge.

If you're inclined to get your dad a new fragrance this Father's Day but don't want to break the bank with some name brand high-end colognes, then I recommend you look into Dossier. These quality fragrances are inspired by iconic designs at a FRACTION of the cost. For what I normally spend on a single bottle of cologne I was able to get 4 different scents with magnetic tops and beautiful glass bottles. This was a great opportunity to try different scents and if you don't like it, free returns! Don't waste a ton of money on colognes, use Dossier.

If you're a dad with kiddos in diapers, you need a dad fanny pack. Yes, you can definitely pull it off. I love crossbody bags and fanny packs for dads on the go who need to be prepared with a diaper or two, wipes, and a changing pad, but don't want to be sporting an over the shoulder diaper bag (although if you're going to get one, you gotta check out Freshly Picked- their stuff is incredible). DadsFanny has mastered the fanny pack for dads and I often give them to new dads as a "welcome to the dad club" gift. Right now they're offering 25% off with code DAD25!

5. Harrys

Any long time reader of this blog will know that I love Harrys. Not only do they have incredible shaving and personal grooming products, their company has been so generous over the years donating so many care packages to various charitable projects I have been a part of. You can get their stuff at Target (where you can also get Father's Day mugs, slippers, and shirts) and their packaging, scent, and effective clean is so cool that the man in your life will never go back. Not to mention their pride collection is always a hit!

I love going to the movies with my dad. Just a one-on-one experience where we go to dinner and then a movie together and get to hang out just the two of us. If you're in a pinch this Father's Day hit up your local movie theater and get gift cards to go to the movies, then throw some of your dad's favorite treats in basket or bag and give him a night at the movies. If you have kids, you know how much a gift like this will mean to your dad because all we ultimately want to do is hang out with our kids!

Finally, whatever you get the dad in your life, make sure to give him a card too! Tell your dad what you love about him, what you've learned from him, how you're trying to be like him, and what you hope he knows about the impact he's had on your life is. No matter what gift you give him, I'm confident that the Father's Day card will be the most treasured!
